Exciting things are happening at Nōku te Ao Capital E as we prepare to move our Digital Learning Studios to Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui, Wellington Central Library.
Will the new Digital Studios be the same as your current ones at 4 Queens Wharf?
They will be new and improved! In our purpose-built learning spaces on level two in Te Matapihi you’ll find Te Rūma Pāpāho OnTV, our production studio, and Te Taiwhanga Arapāho MediaLab that you know and love, with new computer equipment, desks, swivel chairs and more cool things.
Will you offer the same learning programmes?
Some of the learning programmes you know and love will remain, some have been reimagined, and we’re introducing a range of new programmes too.
Our new programmes have been developed in collaboration with educators and creative professionals to deepen the ways ākonga use digital technologies to connect, create, and communicate, passing on knowledge about Te Whanganui-a-Tara and places they connect to, share pūrākau and stories, and contribute to the vibrancy of places they love.
Digital learning is so much more than just asking ākonga to use an app or a digital platform.
