Te Ara Taniwha 3D Design

With Te Waka Huia o Ngā Taonga Tu Iho Wellington Museum and Nōku te Ao Capital E

Learn how digital storytelling can connect people to place. This full-day programme invites ākonga to immerse themselves in the pūrākau of Ngake and Whātaitai. After taking part in an interactive session in Wellington Museum in the morning, ākonga share the pūrākau as a 3D digital text. The collaborative design process builds communication for learning and computational thinking. This programme can be adapted to enable ākonga to share stories that are significant for their school rohe.
