He Pitopito Kōrero | Newscast

Have ākonga author their own texts and express their ideas with clarity, creativity, and control. This programme invites ākonga to write to inform and share stories from your rohe by filming their own script! Using our easy-to-follow template, ākonga compose and craft their scripts before heading to our professional studios. He Pitopito Kōrero Newscast features up to three dynamic news items, four engaging interviews, and a lively weather forecast.

Times: 9.30am, 12.30pm, and 3.30pm weekdays
Duration: 2.5 hours
Cost:

  • 7.50 per student per session for Wellington Regional schools.
  • $10.00 per student per session for schools outside the Wellington Region.
  • Accompanying adults attend free of charge.
  • Minimum charge of $150.00 per session.
