Consider the elements and wider implications of game design. Code and create a 2D video game from scratch, design custom sprites, and create game assets using Construct. With a variety of game types to choose, from platformer to classic arcade style, ākonga are given the freedom to bring their stories to life in any way they choose. Two learning specialists are on hand to take ākonga with a range of confidence levels and reflection on the design process.

Combine this programme with our popular Music Making experience to create a full-day itinerary. Ākonga import the music they make in the morning into their 2D game design in the afternoon.
