Free fruit for all! New World Wellington City once again supports our Te Rā o Ngā Tamariki Children’s Day event.

Thanks to the ongoing generosity of our friends at New World Wellington City, we were thrilled to receive two shopping trolleys full of apples, bananas, nectarines and mandarins for our Te Rā o Ngā Tamariki Children’s Day celebration in early March this year.

Te Rā o Ngā Tamariki Children’s Day is our biggest event of the year where we take over Queens Wharf in the Wellington CBD for one day to celebrate our tamariki. 

The fruit was a big hit on the day, with none left by 3pm and many happy whānau!
