Make a Maramataka Journal

Prepare for the new year by creating your own Maramataka journal in this drop-in craft series.

Maramataka, the Māori lunar calendar, uses an understanding of the moon phases and their influence on the natural world to guide planting, fishing, harvesting, and daily activities.

Using templates provided by artist Tayla Hartemink, whānau can create their own personalised journals to take home and guide them throughout the year.

The sessions will be held in our multipurpose room on the Mezzanine level.
