Our upcoming move to Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui is starting to feel very real.

August saw Practical Completion of the building, with just the internal fitout left to do now. Wellington City Council were given the keys to the building and we’re well underway with preparing for our big move. Te Matapihi will be the heart of Wellington city and we can’t wait to be part of it.

The building was blessed this month with a tohi tāngaengae, a dawn rededication ceremony. We were thrilled to be part of the reveal, with members of our team sharing our vision for Nōku te Ao Capital E’s spaces with the wider Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui whānau.

Save the date! Opening day is on March 14, 2026 and we’d love to see you all there and welcome you to our new spaces.

Teachers interested in registering for learning programmes in our new spaces should enquire now to ensure they don’t miss out, as spaces are expected to fill quickly.
