Children's Day
Nōku te Ao Capital E celebrates Te Rā o Ngā Tamariki Children’s Day every year, and 2025 was a spectacular event! Thanks to all 5,000+ people that came along to join in the festivities with us.
It was a fantastic day watching stage performances, dancing to Aotearoa DJ Academy beats, eating Duck Island ice cream, playing taonga tākaro traditional Māori games with Tū Mātau Ora, watching LOD Dance Studio and Musical Stars take the stage, seeing the wonderous creatures painted on children’s faces by DaizyDesign, watching Enid the puppet paint tiny portraits, making greenscreen videos, meeting Nunu the Giant South Island Moa, seeing Skylark Productions stilt walk through the crowd, and seeing ‘The Big Splash’ artwork come to life.
