You might have met Cara in the play space at Capital E, she’s always got a smile on her face and lots of fun activities for the kids to do!

What’s your role at Capital E? I’m a Visitor Services Host – I get to play with children and their families!

What’s the best thing about Capital E? The people! The staff, our customers and our business partners are the best part of working for Capital E.

What is your first memory of being creative? As a child I would always be making crafts, and when my mum moved to Wellington recently, she gave me a HUGE box of my artworks that she had kept all these years. It was filled with so many treasures!

Why is creativity so important? Creativity can help people to express themselves, whether it be through music, clothing or how they decorate their house. I love that being creative can be a group activity, or a solo project. Also, creativity doesn’t have to be just about arts and crafts, creative thinking can be a great way to problem solve.

If you could create your own crayon, what would it be and describe the colour.
I would create a glitter crayon and name it Aunty Cara.

Create a picture of yourself, you have two minutes!
