Laughter and cries are heard from audiences, young and old, as the mood changes with the story of BOXES, a quirky new family show using near life-size puppets, imagination and loads of boxes. On stage, a constantly changing scene is shaped by two characters, Bernie and Elton, as everyday boxes are used to tell a very funny story about friendship. This family show has delighted audiences with mime, music, tricks and surprises.

“Cardboard boxes – large and small, square and rectangular, this way-up and treat-with-care – are all the props that are needed for Peter Wilson, Annie Forbes and Tim Denton to devise a 45-minute “humanette” puppet show that should keep 4-to-10 year olds and their accompanying adults amused and entertained…” Written by Laurie Atkinson, Dominion Post, January 2004.
