The Roxy5 Short Film Competition is held annually in partnership with the Miramar Events Trust.  Years 7-13 school students from across the greater Wellington region can submit their own short film, (five minutes maximum), to win the chance for two teams to go on an amazing journey to re-make their film with industry professionals and Capital E Digital Tutors; as well as awesome cash prizes for their schools.
This is a unique opportunity that brings together upcoming student talent with film industry professionals as well as related businesses, organisations and partners – it’s all about building creative experiences and connections for our young future film makers!
In 2017, the programme brings back the two Supreme Winner Awards, the People’s Choice Award, as well as mentoring prizes for Best Original Musical Score and Best VFX.
