MediaLab

Your Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality is taking over the world! Armed with a smartphone, a Google Cardboard headset and free software, students will create a brand new virtual world to explore. Step into a world of imagination with giant fluttering monarch butterflies, grazing sheep, circling vultures and a virtual Sun. The world will be created by your students using Unity and will be viewed using Google Cardboard and smartphones (don’t worry, we’ll supply these).

Please note that Capital E are currently in the process of redeveloping our MediaLab and OnTV sessions. This might impact your booking. Groups affected will be contacted ahead of time by the MediaLab or OnTV Coordinator with further details and updated resources.

My visit to Capital E was really great. I have many friends who produce music on their computers but I’ve never tried to do so myself. After this session however, I am definitely going to download Sony’s Acid when I get home. Overall great experience and a great teacher.

Student

Really positive experience. The students were all engaged for the nearly two hour session and didn't want it to end.
