Newscast

Using a template script, classes pre-write their script before visiting the professional OnTV studios. This programme incorporates up to three news items, up to four interviews and a weather forecast. Wrap your stories around an inquiry topic, local newsworthy events, or simply let the wild imaginations of the students run free!

The health and safety of our visitors and staff is very important to us so we continue to follow Ministry of Health advice and guidelines around physical distancing, hygiene, visitor numbers and contact tracing. All visitors are asked to stay home if they are feeling unwell, to maintain physical distancing while in Capital E and are required to complete contract tracing upon entering via the NZ COVID Tracer app or manually. We’ll continue to monitor advice from the Wellington City Council and Ministry of Health and will share updates here and on social media.
