Growing Worlds Workshop

Write yourself a whole new world!

Perfect for any young budding writer or creative! This workshop will focus on creating a fictional world from a small seed and expanding on it through an iterative “digging down” worldbuilding process to create an interesting setting for your tabletop games, storytelling projects or just for the fun of it.

We’ll be working together to create and document a setting and begin to populate it with people, events, things and places that can be used as a backdrop for your own stories.

(8-12 years): Thursday 22 April, 1pm – 4pm SOLD OUT

(9-14 years): Thursday 22 April, 9am – 12pm

*Please note anyone who is attending two workshops in one day will need to be collected by a caregiver during the lunch break.

*As lunch is not provided, we recommend using this time to get something to eat.

Facilitated by Moth Loths

Moth is an interdisciplinary artist and worldbuilder. She has recently released This, Too, Shall Pass, an award winning game about the climate catastrophe and is currently working on a queer multimedia interactive art project called A Crown of Moths Shimmering Under the Moonlit Hand of the Devil in an Ocean of Darkness. When she’s not working on several projects at once, she can usually be found running chaotic tabletop games or picking up new interests at an alarming rate.
