Capital E COVID-19 Information

Capital E, including PlayHQ will be a Covid Vaccination Certificate (CVC) site from 11:59PM Thursday, 2 December under the Government’s COVID Protection Framework (traffic light system).  

From Friday 3, December visitors to Capital E (age 12+) will need to present their My Vaccine Pass on entry.

Operating as a CVC site is the best way to keep our staff and visitors safe.  

Visiting PlayHQ

We currently have a lower visitor capacity in PlayHQ and altered open hours. There are 2 visiting sessions in our opening hours: 9.30am to 12pm and 1pm to 3.30pm, with thorough cleaning between the sessions. We’re able to accommodate a maximum capacity of 40 people. If you arrive and PlayHQ is at capacity you can wait, or the team can take your contact details and call you when space is available. Entry is first in, first served and we cannot take bookings in advance.

• All adults will have their ‘My Vaccine Pass’ verified at point of entry and will be required to QR code scan to enter
• Tamariki under the age of 12 years and three months are not required to show proof of vaccination. 
• You are required to wear a mask if you are 12 years and over.
• Hand sanitiser will be provided at reception
• Please park your pram outside in our pram parking area (unless children are asleep).
• Bring other belongings inside with you, we have areas set aside around the room for these.
• Please stay home if you’re unwell.
• Please follow the guidance of our staff and signage to keep everyone safe when sharing our space.

We understand this is a challenging time for our visitors. Please respect our team and understand they must ask for and verify your ‘My Vaccine Pass’ at point of entry to our sites.
