Did You Know?![]()
Queen Victoria's German husband Prince Albert helped to make the Christmas tree as popular in Britain as they where in his native Germany, when he brought one to Windsor Castle in the 1840's? Since everyone liked the Queen they copied her and soon Christmas trees were blooming in homes all over England. To help poor and homeless children, Prince Albert also gave lots of Christmas Trees to schools and Army barracks in December.
