Everything you need to know about ticket sales and special offers.

Tickets are subject to availability. Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are issued as general admission. A $1 handling fee will be charged for posting out tickets. We are unable to guarantee transfers or exchanges for different performances. Capital E reserves the right to alter without notice any advertised schedule, artist or event. All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Prices include GST and are stated in NZ dollars.

The Celebrity Selection ticket price of $21 for three shows is only available if booking the three public shows selected by the celebrities, as advertised in the official Capital E National Arts Festival Programme. This offer cannot be used with any other offer.

Festival Club members are offered the opportunity to purchase tickets for them and their family/friends to two shows and everyone gets the third show free. The tickets must be to different shows and not multiple tickets to the same show. This offer is for public shows only and can not be used with any other offer. Members must quote their membership number and/or show their membership card to access this offer. Members can access this offer multiple times, ie. If booking six shows they receive free tickets to two shows.

Single tickets are available to weekday shows from mid-February. Tickets can be put on hold before this date and confirmed in February.

Tickets can not be on-sold for a different amount. Please purchase tickets directly from Capital E.

Bus subsidies are for education groups only in the Wellington area. This includes schools and early childhood centres. This area includes Wellington , Porirua, Lower Hutt , Upper Hutt , Wainuiomata and Eastbourne .

Low subsidy tickets are available for schools that have a decile rating of 5 or below and are located in the Wellington area and early childhood centres who are entitled to low equity funding. The ticket price per person is $7.50 for three shows and $5.50 for two shows. This offer is not available to groups attending one performance only. The subsidy fund is limited and given on a first come, first serve basis. The subsidy fund is provided through Winton and Margaret Bear Charitable Trust.

Prices include GST and are in NZ dollars.

Tickets for education groups can be reserved in 2006 and Capital E will contact schools and early childhood centres in early 2007 to confirm numbers. Please be as realistic with your numbers as possible so we can do our best to meet everyone’s needs.

Free buses will be arranged by Capital E to transport groups between their school/centre and Capital E for weekday performances only. Where possible we will discuss other forms of transport with schools outside the designated free bus area.

The low decile subsidy tickets are $5.25 each. They are limited and provided on a first come first served basis. The Celebrity Selection ticket price of $21 for three shows and Festival Club offer is not available to education groups.
