After sold-out performances of Our Secret Garden at the 2005 Festival, Ake Ake Theatre Company returns with this brand new show.
We all come from somewhere; look back far enough and that somewhere was across an ocean, or over a sea. In this universal tale of crossing over, characters fly high and slither low as they tell of journeys to new horizons. People swim, sail and hunt within the depths, changing their lives forever. Enjoy this spectacular large-scale theatrical circus performance filled with fun and drama, colour and darkness. Performed with live original music.
Tip: Book early to make sure you don’t miss seeing the hugely popular Ake Ake Theatre Company in action.
Artform: Live music matches acrobats and circus performance to thrill and entertain.
Amazing costumes, stilt dancers and acrobats will transform your world with a wonderful array of colour, movement and live music. Ake Ake weave a brand-new tale inspired by our mysterious inner drive to travel the oceans.
The show runs for approximately 50 minutes without intervals. Audiences will be seated on floors with mats. This intriguing show has so many different aspects to appeal to a range of ages from age 3.
