At the GlobalFest people from all around the world bring their traditional and new crafts and recipes to the marquees in Civic Square . While you enjoy seeing, tasting and learning about how lives are lived in different parts of the globe, take time to relax in front of the sound stage and enjoy international dances, traditional and contemporary cultural performances, talented young singers, songwriters and an amazing range of musicians!
Fast becoming a Festival tradition, people from 23 different cultures converged at GlobalFest in 2005 to share in this celebration of human diversity.
What to Expect
This is an international picnic, bringing people from different cultures into one space to share new foods, crafts, dance and music together. The food of your choice can be purchased at stalls and the entertainment is free. The whole family can visit for an hour, a rest between shopping, or stay all day.
