Membership to the Club is free for all young people. When you join you will get:

Free Tickets
Book you and your family/friends to TWO shows or more shows and everyone gets a ticket to the THIRD show of your choice for FREE.
Common questions & answers about free tickets:
1. How do I book to get my free ticket?
It’s easy, you just need to be going to three different shows. Just show your membership card when you are booking in person, or quote your membership number over the phone.
2. What if I have already booked tickets to one show and now want to book tickets to two more shows – do I get the third for free?
Great news, the answer is yes, as long as you have booked the first ticket under your name.
3. Can I book a free ticket for a family member or friend?
Yes, simply book them all to the same shows at the same time that you book your tickets, but remember you all need to go to at least two different shows to get a ticket to a third show for free.
4. What if my brother, sister or friend is a Festival Club member too and we want to book together?
No problem, simply choose whether you want to book under your name or another Festival Club member. You can book tickets for the three shows together and as long as you have the other membership numbers to book with they will get their third ticket for free too.
5. What if I want to go to more than three shows?
Every three shows you book for you get one free ticket. So, if you book for six shows you get two free tickets, nine shows you get three free tickets.
6. Do free tickets mean I don’t get very good seats?
Not at all. Tickets are for general admission so you can decide where to sit when you arrive the show. This means the earlier you arrive, the more likely you are to get the seats you want before others arrive.
7. Why do I get a free ticket?
Because you are a special Festival Club member and we want to make sure you get to see as many shows as possible so you can really really enjoy the Festival.
VIP Entry to Shows
You are the first to go into the shows so you’ll get a good seat. Don’t forget to bring your membership card with you to shows so you and your family/friends can queue in the VIP entry line.
Monthly Prize Draws
Yes, Prizes! As a member your name is automatically entered into a prize draw every month. Each month the prizes change so check out the site each month to see what is on offer for that month. The draws start from November 2006 and run to March 2007.
Here is a list of some of the prizes you will see over the months:
- Every month there is a yummy cake from Dorothy’s Patisseries, Cuba Street , Wellington
- Four winners each month can choose their treats at Dorothy’s Pattisseries , Cuba Street, Wellington , receiving vouchers for $10 each. There are four vouchers per draw.
- Free passes to Wellington Zoo and passes to Karori Wildlife Santuary are up for grabs.
- Lucky Festival Club Members will get the chance to come to Special Artists Workshops. Here’s a hint to get excited about - some members will be swinging with the circus performers at a special circus training workshop with Ake Ake Theatre Company who are performing Ship Song.
Become a Journalist
Write to Capital E telling us your favourite part of the Festival and we will post your letters and drawings on the Festival website. The best letter, drawing, or review will be printed in The Dominion Post with your name on it.
