The Capital E National Arts Festival 2007 provides strong links to many strands of the National Curriculum, including Art, English, Social Studies, & much more. Shows targeted at early childhood offer links to Te Whāriki.

TICKETS
Tickets are heavily subsidised by Wellington Museums Trust and Wellington City Council, offering over 50% off the public price. In addition, we allow one free adult ticket for every 10 children booked or for every four children with special needs.

We encourage you to book early to ensure you get the seats you need. If 2007 roll numbers are unknown please estimate your numbers and we will confirm with you in early February 2007. Please be as realistic with your numbers as possible so we can do our best to meet everyone’s needs.

Capital E will arrange free buses for groups of over 35 students booked for two or three show Education Packages, from Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Wainuiomata, Eastbourne & Porirua. If you are from outside of these areas please contact us for further travel information.

Thanks to funding from the Festival’s fabulous supporter, Winton and Margaret Bear Charitable Trust, we are able to offer a 50% subsidy off full or half day programme tickets to education groups with a decile rating of 5 and below or equity funded early childhood centres. There are a limited number of tickets to allocate under this offer. Applications for the subsidy must be made by indicating your interest on the booking form. Successful recipients will be informed in the first week of Term 1 2007, prior to final confirmation being sent. (This offer is not available to groups attending one performance only.) Don’t forget you could also be eligible for a free bus!
