Classes pre-prepare their own script before their OnTV session, using the script template below. This programme incorporates up to 3 news items, 3 interviews and a weather forecast. Wrap your stories around an inquiry topic, local newsworthy events, or simply let the wild imaginations of the students run free!

This Is Your Life Years 7+
Students write their own version of the classic TV show This Is Your Life prior to their visit, using the script template below. This format involves interviews from the character’s life as well as nostalgic tales of their own and a recreation of a scene from their past. The script might focus on a noted historical figure, a character from a novel, an inquiry study, or popular culture.

Wahine Experience Years 4+
In a collaboration with the Museum of Wellington, City & Sea students work with OnTV in-house scripts based on The Wahine Disaster. Students spend the morning at the Museum researching and developing their interviews based on the The Wahine Disaster exhibition. They then visit the OnTV Studio to spend the afternoon producing their television documentary show, The Wahine Experience.
