Capital E National Theatre for Children - Teacher Resources

Capital E provides a free teaching resource for all productions containing curriculum links, activities and information to assist with unit planning.

All productions meet English and Arts curriculum objectives. Individual productions have further links to different strands of the National Curriculum, based on their unique themes.

Full copies of resources for each show are available on completion of the booking procedure. You will receive a PIN-code to download the resource online.

Seasons

Pre-school - Year 3

 

Two teacher resources are now available, packed with activites and lessons for both before and after your theatre experience:

  • For schools linked to the National Curriculum for Year 1 - 3.
    Seasons     is especially relevant     to Values and Key Competencies and the Science, Arts and English learning areas.
  • For the Early Childhood Curriculum – Te Whariki.
    The resource focuses on the music, puppetry and colourful natural world of the show.

Years 4 - 8

 

A Teacher Resource to assist you with unit plans to meet objectives for National Curriculum Years 4 - 8 is available:

  • Some of the Key Competencies covered include: Participating and Contributing, Managing Self and Relating to Others.
  • Some of the Values covered include: Community and Participation, Integrity and Equity.
