“Pretty much perfect,” Dominion Post 2002
"A treat for young and old. . .charming and engaging 45 minute show," Dominion Post, April 2005

The Farm at the End of the Road takes children over the fence and into New Zealand ’s rural world using humour, catchy sing-along music and puppetry.
It’s the funny adventure of Farmer Mac who sets out to find a farm and on the way, is joined by a menagerie of farm animals. There’s Buck the sheep dog who falls off a truck, Duchess and Matilda the sheep who aren’t so happy with their lot, Henrietta the chook and her free range mate Henry … cuddly puppet characters that keep children giggling and happy throughout.
The Farm at the End of the Road is written and directed by Capital E National Theatre For Children Artistic Director Peter Wilson. It is presented with delightful puppets created by Auckland artist Sue Hill, original catchy music by Wellington composer Laughton Pattrick and lyrics by Wellington novelist Jenny Pattrick.
The colourful painted set is designed by John Hodgkins.
