How to get to Capital E

Capital E is located in Civic Square. There are several entrances to Civic Square. The main entrances are:

  • Entrance between the Wellington Town Hall and Michael Fowler Centre. Capital E's entrance is next to the pond.
  • Over the City to Sea Bridge from the waterfront. Turn left or right when you get to the bottom of the stairs at Civic Square. Capital E is under these main stairs.
  • Enter through the corridor between the Wellington Centre Library and Wellington Information Centre on Victoria Street. Capital E is straight ahead of you (under the stairs leading to the Waterfront).

Capital E is located at the Eastern End of Civic Square, between the City Art Galley and the Old Town Hall

Buses can park on Wakefield Street, outside the Michael Fowler Centre.
