About Capital E

Capital E is an award-winning not-for-profit organisation based in the cultural capital of Wellington, whose focus is children and their creativity. This is the only facility in New Zealand that gives children access to a wide range of creative technology, live performance and events, attracting up to 200,000 visitors each year.

National Arts FestivalOnTV Studio

NATIONAL THEATRE FOR CHILDREN
One of New Zealands leading professional theatre companies creating works for young people. Shows tour both nationally and internationally.

SOUNDHOUSE™ NZ
Using the latest technology and software young people produce their own music, soundtracks, computer games and animation in our multi-media production suite.

ONTV STUDIO
A fully equiped studio offering hands-on experiences in television production.

EVENTS
Fun and original events, plus creative workshops to excite and inspire young minds.

NATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL
A two week biennual festival of theatre, dance, music and arts experiences for young people, their schools and families.
